Small electrical and electronic items still going to waste

A report from the United Nations University indicates that worldwide in 2014, the weight of end-of-life electronic, electrical equipment totalled 41.8 million tonnes. Further to this, the report estimates that e-waste last year contained US$52 billion in resources and that most of this was not collected for recovery or treatment.

You may not be aware that shared Parental Leave rules changed with effect from 1st October 2014. Since that date women are able to split all but the first 2 compulsory weeks of maternity Leave with their partner. Prospective fathers and partners of pregnant women will also have the right to take time off to attend two antenatal appointments.
